Titanate Coupling Agent LD-27
First, overview
This product is the fifth generation of domestic single alkoxy types, it is light-colored, stable in storage, difficult to solidify, thus showing a better coupling performance, making itself an ideal replacement of international trump card-TTS in China.
Second, components
vegetable acid single alkoxy titanate, similar to KR-TTS in the United States

Appearance: light reddish brown liquid

Viscosity(GB265-83) η25:≥40 mm2/s;
Flash point(GB367-87) (opening): ≥45℃;
Refractive index(GB367-86)ND25:1.47±0.01
PH value(test paper): 3.5±0.5; decomposition temperature≥240℃
PS: can reach up to 300℃ or more after the action with pigments and fillers
Fourth, properties
Can be the perfect surface treatment agent for inorganic fillers
Fifth, application range
Light、heavy calcium carbonate、clay、fly ash、carbon black and other inorganic fillers; Systems like polyolefins and natural rubber; Alkyd paints.
Sixth, features
With modest price and wide application scope; Strongly increase polyolefin products’ filling amount to reduce the cost; Apply to extrusion, calendaring, pressing of the plastic producing process; Enable the paints have properties of anti-floating and drying.
Seventh, dosage
Occupies 0.5-3.0% of total pigments and fillers and the recommended dosage is 1.0%, usually 3‰ in coatings, but the best dosage can be decided by experiments.
Eighth, usage
In plastic industry, dilute it with liquid paraffin by 1:1, then spay the mixture on fillers in high-speed mixer, stir for 5-10 minutes (decided by performance), add resins and other agents, finally carry out with the original process.
In rubber industry, first dilute it with 200#solvent oil or machine oil (the dosage corresponds with the amount of solvents and lubricant in original process), then spray the mixture on fillers in high-speed stirring, continuously stir for several minutes (time decided by performance), finally discharge for standby application. What’s more, heat dissipation should be paid attention to for the possibility of fillers going bad after being heated.
In coating industry, dilute it with 200#solvent oil or isopropanol by 1:1, spray before lapping and then carry out as the original process after lapping.
Ninth, points for attention
If this product has crystallization and delamination (due to low temperature), it needs water bath heating before use! (No effect to quality.) Valid for one year since leaving the factory, can not contact water or it will lose efficacy.
